This fan-less card is quite a thing... the sheer size and weight is beyond comprehension!

The first couple of shots simply show the card itself.  The final batch document the process of moving the Sapphire badge on the card.  For some reason, Sapphire put the badge on the side of the card that will face downwards once installed, so I switched it to the other side.

The process is actually quite simple...  First, give the badge and heatsink a good blast with a hairdryer to loosten up the glue, then use a small amount of brute force to pry the badge off.  This leaves a nasty residue (as pictured) which can be removed using your prefered brand of cleaner.  I then re-attached the badge to the opposite side using a double-sided thermal sticky pad (from a Vantec Iceberq kit, FYI).

This mod is quick & easy and, I think, enhances the card nicely.

Note: It seems the 9800 Pro version of this card still has the badge on the wrong side.
