News
  • The BBC News site; updated every 15 minutes.

  • WinDrivers.com is the definitive source for Windows drivers.  They not only list the latest driver releases for Windows, but also a daily selection of technology news.

Update: A couple of days ago, WinDrivers switched to a subscription model.  While their main front page 'portal' is still open, it remains to be seen whether the site continues to be a worthwhile resource.

  • The Register - no-holds-barred technology news with a British sense of humour & dry wit.

  • Lockergnome - Daily tech. tips, news, reviews, rants.  Good stuff delivered daily to your Inbox.  Subscribe below:

Reference
  • Web Design Group's Web Authoring Reference contains detailed HTML & CSS specifications.  An invaluable resource for those of us who hand-craft our sites.

  • NetMechanic offer a host of excellent tools for Web developers.  I use the GIFBot a great deal to optimise my images.

  • The Microsoft Design Gallery Live is a very useful resource for stock clipart and images for your site.

Family & Friends
  • Dick the Builder.com is my twin Brother's site detailing his 'new life' in the wilds of Cornwall since semi-retirement from the bustle of the City.  Here you'll find his journal and gallery of work on their new house.

  • Andy's Homepage is where you'll find my older Brother's site, including his Psion utilities, some Grieve history and - very scary - his MRI Brain Scan.

  • Car-Links.co.uk ...All about U.K. motoring on the 'net.  This site is run by an old work friend.
